Android Provider Telephony Sms_Received Not Working. When i build the apk and install on a physical device it doesn't seem to work. Android.provider.telephony.sms_received has a capital t, and yours in the manifest does not.

My service never starts when the sms is received. Have that permission in there too. Google again closes down an existing open source api and replaces it with a proprietary extension (although intention might be a good one here so that apps cannot read your private sms anymore).

The phone where i have tried is running jelly bean 4.2.2 I'm trying to read messages on the phone and it specifically asks for the read_sms permission which i already have in the manifest. Have that permission in there too.
